When buying a used Rolex watch it’s important to a lot of people to not only ensure the watch is all genuine but to see if it’s all orginal. The watch I’m looking at today is a 1992 Rolex Explorer 16570 the date code on the clasp which you can see is P9 this makes the clasp from 1991 and it’s usual for the dates to be 1 or maybe 2 years before or after the case number year of manufacture of the watch. I prefer the orginal clasp slightly worn than a newer service replacement clasp, but this of course is a personal decision.
